Hi Everyone,
Here’s a rundown of what’s been happening on the road so far:
Hit the south of France first off for some tomfoolery with Gwilym around the Bordeaux area, had some good food (which made me violently ill) good waves and some wine, or, vine, as it’s pronounced locally. Also hit the skate-park….on mountainbikes of course where Alv took the scenic route down a half-pipe.
One G...TWO G's!!
Further down the coast things got slightly colder, and we stopped off in Hossegor and Biarrrittz for some cold ones.
If you look closely you can see the snow...
Then off to Spain for a cultural tour of Salamanca with Meg, where legend has it, the ancient Romans defeated the mighty Greek empire in a massive sea battle.
The customary fancy dress Erasmus party ensued:
Then off to Africa!
We headed south in Morocco (Taghazout) pretty fast to hit the coast for some warmth and waves, then headed up the mountains for trek to visit some waterfalls, and monkeys that robbed our lunch.
the monkey won this encounter and got my orange..
After jumping off the waterfall, the current turned out to be stronger than we anticipated!
Will be exploring more over the coming months, will let ye know the craic!
