Marakesh and Mountains
Off to Marakesh to see what all the fuss was about, here Alv gets some culinary advice from Dr. Food. The prescription was a success.
Whats on offer at the food stalls.
Snowcapped mountains surround the 35 degree city heat in Marakesh, so off we went to cool off. Here is a Berber village in th clouds.
Some touristy activity ensued.
We climbed up to the top of a mountain, at 3650 meters, it was harder than it looked, Tjebal Toubkal is in the background and is the highest in N Africa at 4.5 k high.
The swell then showed promise and back to the coast where we found some class surf.
G at the end of one.
